Freshwater East Beach is renowned for it’s blue tranquil water and fresh
broad golden sands. The beach slopes gently into the sea, making it ideal for families.
 Backed by dunes with a freshwater stream running into the sea, and
grassy headlands, this sheltered beach is popular with water sports
enthusiasts; surfing, windsurfing, canoeing/kayaking and sailing are prevalent. Fishing
is also a favoured pastime with local fishermen launching their boats from the
